Find a button for 'print' and 'save'. I know you want it simple, and I LOVE it that way, but I do want to print what I write. I 'm sure its in there, but for a simple program, you should have a simple way of doing these things that are more obvious.

ZenWriter saves you work automatically, you don't need to do that.
If you think that you lost your work then check “Unfiled Notes” folder in “Documents” menu :)

Printing functionality will be added in next update soon

I would like Zen Writer to quit calling upon the Internet every time I use it. If that goes on and if I can't find a way to stop it, I will unistall Zen Writer one and for all.

If you'll look into you your firewall logs, you'll see that ZenWriter simply pings this page:
http://beenokle.com/zenwriter/version.html

We don't need any of your personal info.
No more, no less. 10 seconds after launch, then every 10 minutes.

Ok. I'll add ability to disable automatic updates :)

Add the ability to darken day or brighten night. Some of the backgrounds washed completely away at day setting.

easily add music files - I know it can be done, but it would be good to do it from within the UI of the main program settings.

We really need a way to set paragraph spacing, either through spacing above or below the paragraph or by indenting the first line.

The problem is writers may write a couple thousand words at a sitting, and when we transfer the writing we will have an extra space between paragraphs we need to remove. It would be better if the paragraph style actually indented.

see an adjustable sound control for both music and typewriter clicks...You should be able to make the key clicks louder than the music so that the music is truly background.

There needs to be a save button. I've lost so much of my work because there's not a save button and it didn't save. I spent hours writing only to have it all deleted. :(

Make it portable.

Some of us really like portable programs. Also, writing programs should have a place on the desktop in my opinion, some kind of a 'minimode' similar to a gadget. It sits on the desk and then you have an idea you maximize and you can get in fast....

Import function on bkg, sounds & music. also when it asks you if you want to quit, ask it if you wish to save (if it's not been saved since) Possibly also a auto quicksave feature?

Escape button should minimize the application. Also when minimizing pause the music.

Have an option to minimize on escape.

get the option for random background changing.

I like the possibility to add my own backgrounds. I would find it helpful, if there was also an option for random background changing after a set time [e.g. 15 min, 30 min, 45 min ...].

Add a save button, so Zen Writer doesn't simply disappear with all my work from the previous day since there's no way to confirm it saved it.

More options for editing text

Fun program, but give us more text-editing functionality. (Yes, I did find the bold, italic etc, but I want more. Stylesheets?) And let those who crave buttons to work with have an option to use buttons. (I really do NOT need them, but working...

This ZenWriter is simply wonderful!

The minimalist interface is just what I wanted; I have complex text processors if I need them. I liked, however, the thing that Ctrl-B, Ctrl-I, Ctrl-R,... -E etc. are working! even in the background, hidden, with no buttons or complicated...

I think i may have had two Zenwriter windows open at the same time. One had my work at the point i had last ended. the other I did more work on - about 1800 words. Now it seems I've lost the 1800 words and I'm back to where I was. HELP!!!

Surely there should be a save button to make sure the work is saved????
